Hi! welcome…
I’m a freelance illustrator with a background in journalism and media production.
My illustration journey began with experiments in narrative surface pattern design, food illustration, and editorial work.
In December 2024, I completed a specialisation in picture books, where I honed my skills in children’s illustration. During the programme, I received training and feedback from esteemed publishers including Quarto, Bloomsbury, Nosy Crow, and Walker Books.
My style is deeply inspired by the incredible work of midcentury picture book illustrators like Roger Duvoisin, Miroslav Sasek, and Mary Blair. I also draw inspiration from the humor of vintage cartoons and the charm of stop-motion animation. The character designs from Hanna-Barbera, Charles M. Schulz, and the Rankin/Bass specials hold a special place in my heart.
I find great joy in bringing my characters to life and helping them discover the stories they want to tell.
